Teachers from Kálnoky Ludmilla Elementary School Studied Inclusive Education in Antalya

Between October 13 and 20, 2025, two teachers from Kálnoky Ludmilla Elementary School in Sepsikőröspatak participated in an Erasmus+ training course in Antalya, Turkey, focusing on inclusive education, cultural diversity, and digital learning methods. Titled "Inclusion through Digital Tools and Non-Formal Education," the international course brought together educators from various European countries.

On the first day, participants introduced their countries and schools through interactive ice-breaking activities, followed by lectures and group work that explored the theoretical foundations of intercultural education and inclusion. Throughout the week, they experimented with various digital and non-formal learning tools—such as Canva, Padlet, WordArt, and MyStoryBook—which can effectively boost student motivation and creativity.

One of the most memorable highlights of the training was the intercultural lunch, where representatives from each country showcased their national dishes and shared cultural experiences. The final day featured a certificate presentation ceremony and an excursion to Alanya, allowing participants to discover the rich traditions of Turkish culture and history. We also took part in a productive study visit at the educational institution of the Antalya Bar Association. These meetings provided a valuable opportunity for the exchange of experiences and further strengthened our international ties.

During the program, the teachers not only expanded their professional knowledge but also improved their English communication skills, intercultural awareness, and digital competencies. Upon returning home, they will apply the experience gained here in their own schools, contributing to the creation of an even more inclusive, open, and modern learning environment.
